Q. Who are you?
A. Hi, I'm Victoria. It's nice to meet you!

Q. What do you do?
A. I'm a comic and digital character artist. I help people flesh out their ideas and breathe life into their characters. I also write, sing, and play guitar and stuff, But that's on a different website.

Q. I like your art. Do you take commissions?
A. YES!!! Absolutely! Please reach out to me through my social media or send an email on my contact page.

Q. Okay, but what subjects do you like doing?
A. I mostly dabble in character art. Humans and humanoids, animals, monsters. But I enjoy doing a little background design from time to time, too!

Q. What WON'T you entertain the idea of drawing?
A. vehicles and machinery, Extremely detailed violence, or Anything considered "Shock value" is off limits.

Q. I think I want to hire you for an illustration not suitable for young eyes. Is that something you do?
A. It could be. If you ask me really nicely, I might be down for a "spicy" commission.

Q. Can you do this thing for free (or for coverage)?
A. I'm afraid If I'm going to spend Time away from my family, I'll need to be paid for it.

Q. So how does the commission process work, anyway?
A. You contact me with details of the commission you're thinking of getting. We discuss the details. I quote you a price. If you like it, you pay half up front. I do a rough draft version and show it to you to make sure to give you the opportunity to suggest edits before continuing, at which point you pay the other half. I send you the full version when it is completed.

Q. Do you sell prints?
A. Not yet. Working on it! Come back soon~

Q. How much does a commission usually cost?
A. It varies depending on what you'd like. Less challenging drawings or drawings that take less time to do are going to cost less, while drawings that are very detailed with multiple characters will cost more.

Q. I don't want to buy anything right now, I just really like the work that you do. Can I leave a tip or buy you a kofi?
A. Oh my goodness, that would make me feel so nice! You're my new best friend! My Kofi link is down below. (Click the mug!)

About the Artist

Selfy_edited.jpg

Growing up, I had a deep fascination for the fantastical worlds found in books, comics, and manga. Artists like  Amy Brown and Brian Froud introduced me to the notion that a person could create an entire universe complete with beautiful and intricate settings and lovingly designed characters just using a pen, paper, and a bit of creativity, while mangakas like Mia Ikumi of "Tokyo Mew Mew" showed me how to add a bit of that pop sparkle that I love so dearly. Learning that someone could have such an ability inspired me to try to harness it for myself. I wanted to draw, draw, draw, with the goal of one day being able to bring peoples' ideas to life. Eventually I combined my love for drawing with my passion for computers and got into digital illustration. And ever since, I've never put down my tablet pen.

I've spent a great deal of time studying human anatomy to make sure that the body proportions and pose flow well together. And when I'm not working on a commission, I really enjoy experimenting with different digital drawing and painting styles and color schemes to learn what other possibilities are out there!

My favorite themes are fantastical creatures and monster people, D&D characters, plants, cats and other animals, atmospheric light and color play, alternative fashion, aesthetics, interesting color schemes, and anything that challenges me pose and anatomy wise.

I'm excited to help breathe some life into your characters or to just represent them in a different sort of light. If you have any questions that aren't answered in the FAQ to the left, feel free to ask me! I don't bite. ♥
